Courage...
In the bestselling book Dune, one of the main themes
author Frank Herbert carried throughout the Sci-Fi story
included his leading characters,' Paul Atreides, commentary on
fear:
I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear?
And when it has gone past I will turn?to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
--Paul Atreides Our ancient foe had
designed many and pervasive arena's of fear through which every
Christian man must navigate and the world system, bowed to
Satan's orchestration does much to reinforce those fears. But,
the antidote to fear is disclosed by the Apostle Paul when he
writes in Romans 8:15, "'For you did not receive a spirit
that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the
Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, 'Abba, Father.'"
These articles, mostly excerpts from the book
Called to War,

life...and how the Christian man can stare down and overcome
